But before that, I felt that it is important to point out that any news on the topic can be quite inaccurate at this time.

At this early stage of iPhone6 development when there have been no official announcements, you need to keep in mind that the great majority of information you will find on the internet or in technology magazines is primarily just rumour and speculation as no concrete plans have been outlined by Apple.

While I enjoy reading the the out-of-this-world possible rumours surrounding the desing and specifications of the iPhone6, the reality is that most of these will turn out to be incorrect. It’s an exciting time and if you keep up, you will find a hint of what is to come, even if only a small amount of this will end up true.

Depending on what the next generation of iPhone will be (iPhone5 or iPhone6, as outlined in the post below), the release date as well as the whole set of rumours will shift and change.

Speculation by fans of the iPhone series in the past year or two was that the iPhone 5 would be released in 2011, which is not likely anymore.

Apple decided to release the iPhone 4S now, with features the many thought were reserved for the iPhone5.

As iPhone 4S is the fifth generation of iPhone, this has led some analysts to suggest that Apple will not call the next phone the iPhone 5, but maybe iPhone 6.

Calling the next Apple mobile iPhone 6 would match up with the fact that it is the sixth generation product in the iPhone line.

Whether these are just empty rumours or not is hard to say at the moment but we will be keeping a close eye on this in the coming months.
