As many of you know, the latest instalment of iPhone was recently released. Speculation by fans of the iPhone series in the past year or two was that the iPhone 5 would be released in 2011, which is not likely anymore.
Apple decided to release the iPhone 4S now, with features the many thought were reserved for the iPhone5.
As iPhone 4S is the fifth generation of iPhone, this has led some analysts to suggest that Apple will not call the next phone the iPhone 5, but maybe iPhone 6.
Calling the next Apple mobile iPhone 6 would match up with the fact that it is the sixth generation product in the iPhone line.
Whether these are just empty rumours or not is hard to say at the moment but we will be keeping a close eye on this in the coming months.
